Huis Ten Bosch Station ( ハウステンボス駅 Hausutenbosu-eki ? ) is a railway station on the Ōmura Line in Haenosaki-chō, Sasebo , Nagasaki Prefecture , Japan, is operated by Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu) and is. This station serves the Huis Ten Bosch theme park after which it is named.

Fee: Y2,500 (adult), Y1,800 (3 to elementary school student), Y500 (2 years old and under) Have you seen the amphibious bus at the Huis Ten Bosch yet? When I saw it, it was crossing the street. Yes, it looks like a boat but yet can drive on the road! The bus drives on the road for 25 minutes and ducks in the water for 20 minutes. You don’t have to sign up, come to the Huis Ten Bosch Entrance 15 minutes prior to the tour that you wish to take. I’m thinking to take my brother and his family to ride on this bus. Ikitsuki ( 生月町 Ikitsuki-chō ) was a town on the island of the same name located in Kitamatsuura District , Nagasaki Prefecture , Japan . As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 7,392 and a density of 445.84 persons per km². The total area was 16.58 km². On October 1, 2005, Ikitsuki, along with the town of Tabira and the village of Ōshima (all from Kitamatsuura District ), was merged into the expanded city of Hirado . Ikitsuki is known historically for two primary reasons: a legacy of whaling and hidden Christians . Near the south end of the island is a museum with exhibits on both these aspects of Ikitsuki's history. Nearly all the people of Ikitsuki live on the east side of the island. The west side faces out into the open ocean (sea) and is very windy. In addition, much of the west side of the island is cliff-face, with only a few spots which are flat enough even for terraced farming. The scenery is stunning in Ikitsuki, and has attracted a great number of domestic tourists since road access was available through bridges connecting Hirado Island with the mainland and Ikitsuki Island to Hirado. The dialect of Ikitsuki can be difficult to understand, even for Japanese people who live in nearby towns. However, this is more true among the older people, and "standard" Japanese is spoken in educational and governmental settings.

The Ikitsuki Island Museum Shima no Yakata is dedicated mainly to the whaling industry in the area during the Edo Period (1603-1868) but also contains exhibits from the "Hidden Christian" culture practiced in the region as well as local farming and traditional festival dances. There is also a quirky section of stuffed fish, produced by the islanders since 1989. There are presently about 400 fish from 250 different species on display, attached to the ceiling by wires in a special room. Coastal whaling in certain defined areas ( Shimonoseki , Wakayama and Taiji in present day Wakayama Prefecture, for example) was practiced throughout the Edo Period in Japan (certainly not everywhere on Japan's long coastline) and the museum's main emphasis is on the Masutomi group of whalers, who hunted whales in Nagasaki's coastal waters for their meat and oil, which was used for bug control on the area's rice fields.
