Borongan

Borongan , officially the City of Borongan , ( Waray : Siyudad han Borongan ; Cebuano : Dakbayan sa Borongan ; Filipino : Lungsod ng Borongan ), pronounced bo-róng-gan , is a 5th class city and capital of the province of Eastern Samar , Philippines . According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 69,297 people. [3] It is also nicknamed as the "City of the Golden Sunrise/Sunshine" and aspiring to be the "King City of the East".
