From points East of Cambridge: Take Route 50 West to Cambridge, Maryland. Turn left onto Church Creek Road (Route 16). At the second street, turn right onto Chesapeake Drive. The entrance to the Cambridge Outpatient Clinic parking lot will be the first right off of Chesapeake Drive. From points West of Cambridge: Take Route 50 East to Cambridge, Maryland. Turn right onto Church Creek Road (Route 16). At the second street, turn right onto Chesapeake Drive. The entrance to the Cambridge Outpatient Clinic parking lot will be the first right off of Chesapeake Drive. Shuttle Services: Door-to-Door Shuttle: A free door-to-door transportation service is available Monday through Friday for Veteran patients that are referred by their VA provider/social worker, making below a minimum income level, have a catastrophic illness, qualify for VA beneficiary travel, and do not have any other transportation resources. This door-to-door service is available for eligible Veterans throughout Maryland’s Eastern Shore that need transportation to the Cambridge VA Outpatient Clinic. Wheelchair vehicles are also available as a part of this free door-to-door shuttle service. To schedule a pick-up, please call (410) 228-6243, ext. 4167. Veteran patients are encouraged to call at least one week in advance of their scheduled appointment. Lower Shore Shuttle: A free shuttle runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays to the Cambridge VA Outpatient Clinic from the lower Eastern Shore with pick-ups at the Crisfield City Hall at 5:45 a.m., the Pocomoke City VA Outpatient Clinic at 6:15 a.m., the Princess Anne District Hall at 6:45 a.m., and the Salisbury K-Mart Parking Lot at 7 a.m. The return shuttle usually departs the Cambridge VA Outpatient Clinic around 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. To schedule a ride on the shuttle, please call (410) 228-6243, ext. 4167. Veteran patients are encouraged to call at least 48 hours in advance of their scheduled clinic appointment. Unfortunately, shuttle transports cannot be provided to Veteran patients that do not call in advance to schedule a ride on the shuttle. Shuttle to Baltimore: A free shuttle is provided from the Cambridge VA Outpatient Clinic to the Baltimore VA Medical Center Monday through Friday for Veteran patients needing specialty care and inpatient services. The shuttles depart from the Cambridge VA Outpatient Clinic, with the first shuttle departing at 8 a.m. and the second shuttle departing at 10 a.m. The return shuttles to Cambridge depart from the Baltimore VA Medical Center at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. To schedule transportation on the shuttle to the Baltimore VA Medical Center, please call (410) 228-6243, ext. 4167. Shuttle to Perry Point: A free shuttle is provided from the Cambridge VA Outpatient Clinic to the Perry Point VA Medical Center Monday through Friday for patients needing specialty care and inpatient services. The shuttle departs from the Cambridge VA Outpatient Clinic at 8 a.m. The return shuttle to Cambridge departs from the Perry Point VA Medical Center at 2 p.m. To schedule transportation on the shuttle to the Perry Point VA Medical Center, please call (410) 228-6243, ext. 4167.
