Fontana Village

Fontana Village Resort is bordered by the Nantahala National Forest, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Fontana Lake. Fontana Lake offers boating, water-skiing, and fishing. Sign up for horseback riding at the resort's stables. The resort, while rustic and secluded, offers a miniature golf course, lighted tennis courts, and two outdoor pools are open Memorial Day through Labor Day. The resort offers outdoor recreation, including hiking tours and mountain biking. Some activities and amenities may not be available during off season months.
