Fort Drum USO
The USO is a 501(c)3, Congressionally-chartered private, nonprofit organization. USO Fort Drum's 8,000-square-foot center provides critical morale and recreation opportunities to 100,000 visitors each year. We are home to America’s most deployed Division, the 10th Mountain Division (light infantry), and fill a crucial need for New York’s active duty National Guard and Reserve Units. USO Fort Drum is staffed by two full-time employees, one part-time employee and a cadre of approximately 80 volunteers from the community and Army post. USO Fort Drum relies on volunteers and the generosity of New Yorkers to lift the spirits of our troops and their families. Since 1941, the USO has been there for our wounded servicemen and women, deployed troops and those serving on bases across America. Amenities: At USO Fort Drum, we provide "a touch of home," a place where troops can congregate to enjoy USO services such as free internet, large screen, high definition TV, billiards, movies, dances, special events and computer gaming.
