For more than 71 years, the USO's mission has remained the same: to lift the spirits of troops and their families. The USO will support U.S. troops and their families wherever they serve. Across the United States and around the world, the American military knows that the USO is there for them. By supporting the USO, Americans show their appreciation and express their gratitude to the men and women who defend us. Amenities: The USO center features: Wifi Fax (incoming and outgoing) Pool tables, air hockey, shuffleboard, foosball, poker XBox 360, PS3, Wii Family room Library Lounge places with fireplaces Computer lab Conference room Movie theater 9 TVs with DirecTV Snack bar Our programs include: - United Through Reading - Deploying troops can read a childrens book on DVD. - Operation USO Care Package - Care packages for deploying/deployed troops - Trevor Romain Deployment kits - Designed to help children of deployed troops - Homecoming Kits - designed to help our troops returning from combat - SRP snacks - Snacks for deploying/returning troops going through the Soldier Readiness Processing Center - Operation Warm Start - breakfast for Families of the Fallen on the day of their soldier's memorial - WTB Day Room (Operation Enduring Care) - a day room for the troops in Fort Riley's Warrior Transition Bn. - No Dough Dinners - free dinner just before pay day for approx. 300 troops and families - FRG Open House meetings at the USO - Special events/entertainment (on occasion) Hours: Open throughout the year to service members and families.
