Great Lakes USO

Located at Naval Station Great Lakes, the USO of Illinois Center Great Lakes is a “Home Away From Home” for service members stationed in and around Naval Station Great Lakes. The center features a Cyber Canteen furnished with computers, printer and fax as well as free WI-FI access throughout the center. The center offers a full kitchen stocked with snacks and beverages and “diner-style” seating area. Amenities: USO Great Lakes is a multifaceted complex where service members can enjoy some rest, relaxation and recreation. Enjoy renting movie from the center’s movie catalog – with current releases – and watch it in the PepsiCo movie room complete with custom theater-style seating. The center features several lounge areas, big screen TV’s, pool tables, table tennis, fuse ball, books/magazines… you can take with you, board games, XBOX & Wii gaming systems including Guitar Hero, stereo, art room, piano & guitar and quiet study rooms big enough for groups. The Admiral Bulkeley Military Library is a great resource for military study and Naval History. The Alice Wood Bulkeley Light House Room is a quiet spot to reflect and recharge. The USO Great Lakes Center also serves bi-monthly No-Dough Dinners, a FREE deluxe meal with all the fixes, the day before pay day at 1730 to military personnel.
