Driving Directions Take US 1 south to Campbell Drive. Drive west to Krome Avenue. Take a right turn and drive north to 10th street. The clinic is located in a 4-story building directly across the street from a day care center. Services Available The clinic is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Because the Homestead VA Primary Care Clinic is a community based outpatient clinic, emergency services are not offered here. Services provided are: Primary care Preventive care services Electrocardiogram (EKG) Laboratory (phlebotomy) Ancillary testing Internal Medicine Routine x-rays Women's Health Care Medication management and monitoring Vaccinations Alcohol and drug screening Pharmaceuticals Initial prescriptions for medications will be provided during the clinic visit. Medications for continuous therapy will be provided through the prescription mail out program. Requests for prescription refills will be mailed to Pharmacy Service, Miami VA Healthcare System, or through the automated telephone system. Medication refills or information about your VA prescribed medications can be obtained by calling the Miami VA Healthcare System Pharmacy at 305-575-3133, or 1-888-276-1785. Registration and Enrollment Information Pre-registration at this clinic is required. Patients not previously registered may do so at this location and will be given an appointment for a later date.
