Magallanes

Magallanes , officially the Municipality of Magallanes , ( Cebuano : Lungsod sa Magallanes ; Tagalog : Bayan ng Magallanes ), is a 4th class municipality in the province of Agusan del Norte , Philippines . According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 21,007 people. [4] The municipality was named after the Portuguese surname of the maritime explorer Ferdinand Magellan .
