Murray ES

The South Carolina/Fort Stewart/DoDDS Cuba District opened its newest school, Murray Elementary, in August of 2014. Several years went in to the planning and building of the school. The new school includes many innovative features and teaching and learning will emphasize the integration of technology. Although the Fort Stewart School's enrollment remained the same, Murray ES allowed the schools to re-zone, providing enrollment relief to Diamond, Brittin, and Kessler Elementary Schools. This rezoning eliminated the need for busing, and provided easier access for student to attend schools within walking distance of their homes.
