Sangen-Jaya
Sangen-Jaya Station ( 三軒茶屋駅 Sangenjaya-eki ? ) is a railway station in Setagaya, Tokyo , Japan . It is located at the merging of two highways, Route 246 and Setagaya-dori, just outside the central area of Shibuya. Historically, people coming into Tokyo from the countryside would stop in Sangenjaya for a rest before entering the heart of the city. This is where the area got its name, since Sangenjaya means "three tea houses". [ citation needed ]
