The 8th Takashima Island Dot-koi (Come Together) Festival

Takashima Island is famous for chikuwa fishcakes. Including the chikuwa and other fish products are on sale for the festival. Fun events such as bare hand fish catching game are scheduled. A chartered free frerry boat will take you from Ainoura Port in Sasebo (leaving Ainoura at 0815) to Takashima Island. It’s a good chance to visit Takashima.
