The United Services Organizations (USO) is the way Americans support their troops. A private, nonprofit organization since its founding in 1941, the USO provides morale, welfare and recreation services to military personnel and their families.The USO is committed to improving the quality of life of service men and women and their families. Whether at a USO center where a soldier on rest and recuperation (R&R) gets a warm welcome home, or at a deployment site where USO Volunteers send our troops off with support, gratitude, and, of course, good old-fashion "Southern Hospitality."
