Yamashita

Yamashita Station ( 山下駅 Yamashita-eki ? ) is a railway station operated by JR East in Yamamoto , Miyagi Prefecture , Japan. It has been closed since the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami , when the station building was severely damaged and became unusable. JR East plans to move the station to a new location slightly farther inland, and aims to re-open the surrounding section of the Joban Line by 2017. [1]
