Summary

Cyber Threat Analysts assess foreign cyber intentions and capabilities to support U.S. national security interests.

Major Duties

As a Cyber Threat Analyst at CIA, you will analyze foreign cyber intentions and capabilities to support U.S. national security interests. You will identify, monitor, and counter threats against US information systems and critical infrastructure. You will produce tactical and strategic written assessments and brief U.S. policymakers. You will have opportunities for foreign and domestic travel and language study. You will receive tradecraft and leadership training while increasing your substantive expertise through academic study, collaboration with Intelligence Community peers, and professional conferences. You may also participate in broadening assignments within the Agency and across the U.S. Government.
