YOKOSUKA CHILDREN'S BICYCLE PARK (f.lt.1'¥:?iffi01il) This park is set up to resemble city streets where children can ride bicycles with no cars allowed and has city streets with working traffic signals, street signs, and even a flashing train crossing. It is a great place for children to ride bicycles without fear of automobiles and gives them a chance to practice their riding skills. All riders must ride a bike provided by the park, so don't plan on bringing your own bicycle. The park maintains a fleet of bicycles of all sizes from very small 12 inch wheel bikes with training wheels to adult sized bicycles. Additionally there are three wheeled pedal scooters children can ride if they prefer something more car like. The pace of the park is slow and will appeal to elementary aged school children and younger. There are plenty of shady areas for parents to sit and read while the children play. Helmets are not provided by the park, so please bring your own (helmets are not required by the park and most Japanese children do not wear them, but they are highly recommended). Train travel is the best way to get to the park as there is no parking at the park and parking in this area is very limited. Admission is free, open 0930-1630 closed on Mondays. You must wear tennis shoes, no crocs, sandals or flip-flops are allowed. 7. ABURATSUBO MARINE PARK (nil?"'
